so i was in france on a camping with 50% english, 40% dutch... all english kids were in complete wetsuit like things in the pool, the dutch had just a swimming shorts/bathsuit.. are we missing something? are you englush that more sun burn sensitive? (we're kinda red after sun as well, not as red as the english, and using ore sunscreem, limiting sun hours i think).. is this recent? i was just confused as the difference..

When I were a nipper, swimming trunks like the above were standard, and that was fine. Although when abroad I would often wear a t shirt as well, because I burn up like unattended bacon in any serious heat.

It may just be a sunburn thing. I hope it's that rather than the PAEDO-FEAR.

When I was wee I used to run around the beach in the buff, but at swimming pools & the like I'd obviously have to wear trunks. I did have to bang on a tshirt at some point though as (then) having hair so blonde it was almost white I had a tendency to burn if I spent the whole day in the sun.

That's nuts. Those were not normal brits, those were upper middle class children from somewhere like chipping norton - it's not a paedo thing it's the latest anti-skin cancer fashion thing. It's come over here from australia and was popularised by that lawson bint with the big tits.

Zioette has a swimming costume because it wos wot they sold in the shops. Paedogeddon never factored into it.

saw some at the etos and had to explain to my mother what they were and why they exist
when we were little we would go to jugoslavia for the summer, after a few hours at the seaside we got to wear our regular t-shirt and swim in it - we thought that was awesome
