Official poll of the forum.

Soon to be followed by whether pineapple is allowed on pizza.

I don't like peanut butter, but I like peanut butter in things or used to flavour things. How do I vote?

Not half as good as normal butter for lubrication.

I wonder how well peanut butter would work on a pizza. Maybe with extra pineapple too?

You can eat anything as long as there's enough chili sauce.

I'm sure I read somewhere that bears like pineapple and peanut butter. So be careful while eating that pizza, especially if you are in the great forests of North America.

Not liking nuts at all, peanut butter is lost on me. I cannot fathom people who don't like pineapple on pizza though. If your pizza has a salty, preferably spicy pork product on it (eg. chorizo, salami, prosciutto, pancetta, n'duja), then the sweetness of the pineapple contrasts with the meat in a pleasing fashion. If your pizza doesn't have a salty, preferably spicy pork product on it, you need to re-evaluate your life choices.

Doc.. the peanut is not a nut it is a bean.... The peanut, or groundnut (Arachis hypogaea), is a species in the legume or "bean" family.

But you are spot on with pizza topics...

You are technically correct. The best kind of correct! But they still taste nutty, which means I still don't like 'em regardless of their genus classification.

I reckon that's just a lie, you know. Why do so many people have nut allergies, including peanuts, and you never hear of anyone with a bean allergy? Why can you buy peanut oil, hazlenut oil, and walnut oil, but you can't buy any bean oils?

Which beans are you thinking contain oil? :S

Although - Castor bean oil? That exists, I think.

A good question. The most likely reason is that peanuts are in pretty much everything, or used to be until everyone started exploding when they looked at them. Overexposure could have caused more allergies.

Personally I just think people these days need to man the fuck up a bit. "oooh oooh, I have a peanut allergy!" Just fuck off and eat it you pussy. :D

Having suffered from a severe dairy allergy when I was younger, I can say that it really irritates me when people say they have allergies when they're just fussy eaters.

An unwitting fussy eater, yes! Now I can (and do) eat everything, I never refuse anything that is served up to me, even if it is something I wouldn't necessarily choose to cook for myself.

How about Ferrero Rocher, Doc? Surely you wouldn't decline one at an Ambassador's reception.
