Due to the success of my python question ;)

I need to choose a sensible technology to give users a web form which can be accessed on PC browsers, and the likes of iPhone / Blackberry / tablet things. The data on the form is simple, mostly just yes/no checkboxes, and text fields. The key thing is, it needs to be able to save the data as you go, retrieve it if you close the browser and go back later (yes, with a login) and easily scroll back to see what was input so far. And above all be easy to use.

HTML5? Web 2.0? What I want probably doesn't exist at all which is why I can't think of an example, right?
Clue me in here beex

Pretty much any server-side stuff with AJAX, I'd imagine. Sounds like a problem with a reasonably open solution.

Ajax, that's the one I was trying to remember. Cheers, I'll have a read up and come back with some hopefully less belming questions.

None of those things is a programming language. You're going to need a server-side scripting language like perl or PHP and either a database or store some stuff in flat files on your server.
