Once again, I review the honors list with some amusement and scepticism.

Has anyone heard from Russ since this post? I assume/hope he's just out and about.

Hmmm, not sure if I like EDGE's new look. I do like that there appears more text on the reviews and a post-script piece but it still looks like there is too much empty space on the page.

Lovely paper though.

And Hiiiiittttmmmmaaaannnn on the cover! Time to have a good sit down and read.

I like it and don't. The worst thing for me is you can't flip it open at a random page and just dive in any more. I don't know why - the design is just so minimalistic that you can't really tell where the hell you are. Maybe it's just me. Also, still no names on the reviews. Still an obsession with the Nordic/Scandinavian games industries. They've got rid of pretentious, uninteresting and clueless N'Gai Croal, and replaced him with the even more pretentious, even more uninteresting and even more clueless, "look at this new photo of my face" Leigh Alexander. Her article starts off talking about Dickens. She's obviously never fucking read Dickens. Fuck off, EDGE.

He got dragged to the hospital last night and has, indeed, got a nasty throat infection. The doctor has drugged him up to fight the infection and given him some painkillers to ease everything.

So, he should be okay, but he says he may not be on the forum for a while.

That's the first person we've chased off by actually trying to help them. Unless you count "trying to help" as "throwing a donkey off a church tower".

I'm ok chaps. Remembered I have the forum on my phone.

Absolutely overwhelmed by all the advice and well wishes. You guys are amazing.

Not eaten since Friday lunch but fluids are staying down, and I have some drugsy drugs now. And the hospital told me off for not going in sooner. The doctor winced when he looked down my throat.

Going to head back to sleep again now so I might not be about too much, but in case I don't make it I love you all xxx

I can't believe they've done away with the Extended Play feature; usually the best bit.

The industry pieces are dreadfully boring as ususal but run on for about 50 pages. Christ who actually reads that bit. At least Minter was interesting and gave an insight into the industry when he was making that Space Giraffe game.

Reasons women go out with me:

1) They enjoy my clever jokes

2) They don't have the stones to end their miserable relationships, so want me to talk them into it.

Oh well. It's actually better than I expected, as I thought she'd never get round to actually admitting that she should do it. Pretty stupid to move house with him first, but hey, what do I know.

I hope you start feeling better soon russ, I'm glad you've got some medicine. I got my tonsils out when I was 15 and it was horrible but at least I don't get tonsilits anymore.

I'm supposed to be spending today learning how to plaster by practicing on a room at my parents house but I got reqlly drunk last night and I'm still lying on my cousins couch...hopefully my brother in law is on his way to rescue me and do an emergency stop for rolls and Irn Bru. I was going to do some wiring at home as well and put a new socket in the bedroom but I think that should wait til later when there is less risk of death through hangover :S

Oh dear, I have the giggles now. Just imagined Wireless Mike, dressed as a matador, sitting motionless at the Rock Band drums whilst Mali, similarly attired, stands in front of the TV singing the Beatles' 'Help!'.

That sounds quite touching. MaliA rowing Wireless Mike across a lake in a little boat. MaliA and Wireless Mike at the zoo. MaliA and Wireless Mike enjoying a romantic meal at a fancy restaurant, possibly sharing a tiramasu. MaliA and Wireless Mike snuggled up on the sofa with a bottle of wine and a soppy love film. :luv:

We went up to Nottingham at the weekend. It was nice. We had a picnic at Wollaton Park, and had a look around the house. Apparently, it will be used in batman 3, so I presume for Wayne Manor. It was too windy to fly the radio controlled helicopter, but not windy enough for the kite, so we went to the pub. Then home for a BBQ. Beeston is a nice area.

EDIT: In the park, there was a group og people, and one man had an imitation badgers tail sticking out the back of trousers. MrsA asked him about it, and he admitted that they were furries.

To be fair, it would be more disturbing if he was wearing a badgers tail and he wasn't a furry...
