I must say, I'm more inclined to vote his way, but I would like to hear a defence, before I commit to actually voting someone...

And if he doesn't come back to the bar before it shuts?

Right, let's see if I have made sense of this:

1) Nickachu claims to have been investigated last night
2) He claims the investigator left a calling card
3) The investigator must have found out something about him, if he is incompetent or not is irrelevant.
Alternatively, Nick is the investigator himself, quite why he would inform us of this, I have no idea.
4) Nick investigated SA, and being an incompetent cop, we don't know if he is any good.
5) Nick was voting for SA yesterday, so if he has an investigate role, it stands to reason he would inv SA. Alt, it also stands for reason he would continue voting today.

I am struggling to come up with a reason not to vote for Nickachu, I can't see him being a cop and outing himself so easily.

If he was a bad guy, who was so far totally without suspicion, why would he suddenly shine a spotlight on himself right at the start of day 2?

yes, sorry, that should probably say, "I can't see a reason to believe Nick's word about SA", really.

Then If I am still nearby, I will commit one way or another, I'm not convinced SA is a badee,

Well, that's really quite different to what you said, expecially given that Russell went "I agree" and voted for Nick.

I'd already voted for Nick, I was voting again to make the point stick.

My opinion is that he was trying to draw out a cop, a terrible behaviour I wanted to stop.

When we were in the middle of this war of attrition it was a good way to put himself above suspicion.

I didn't like it, and that's why I say, put your vote where your hunch is and make Nick pay!

That I agree with, and is a big reason for my vote.

What I don't understand is after all that rhetoric, you didn't vote?

Other than him not leading, that is correct. There's a fair amount of misinformation around this town today.

I think with someone so near the chop, we're going to have go for it. I just can't think of a good reason for Nickachu to claim he'd been investigated if he's a bad guy.
Also, he supplies all the bread for my sandwiches and toast.

Well i am still feeling that we are in the dark but [vote: nickachu], so we can at least get some information and not have another night of terror without us being slightly proactive

After a long day of discussion, the crowd turns on nickachu. What he's claiming to knwo doesn't seem to hold water, despite his protestations.

"No! You fools! Listen to me! I'm smarter than all of you!" he cries as he is brought ot the gallows.

Those are his last words, as a dirty rag is shoved into his mouth and a rope hung around his neck.

Drop, crack, urgh.

Nickachu is dead.

Looking through his belongings, the Town finds a plethora of mirrors and the start of a poorly-written autobiography entitled "Why I'm More Awesome Than Everyone".

Nickachu was an Egotistical Townie

Night actions by 10am Friday, or before, if that's possible.
