If he was a bad guy, who was so far totally without suspicion, why would he suddenly shine a spotlight on himself right at the start of day 2?

Well, that's really quite different to what you said, expecially given that Russell went "I agree" and voted for Nick.

I'd already voted for Nick, I was voting again to make the point stick.

My opinion is that he was trying to draw out a cop, a terrible behaviour I wanted to stop.

When we were in the middle of this war of attrition it was a good way to put himself above suspicion.

I didn't like it, and that's why I say, put your vote where your hunch is and make Nick pay!

because I plan on being around until the end of the day and want to see what Nick say's. If he doesn't pop up soon, I shall vote for him.

I think with someone so near the chop, we're going to have go for it. I just can't think of a good reason for Nickachu to claim he'd been investigated if he's a bad guy.
Also, he supplies all the bread for my sandwiches and toast.
