Right, so the players are...

trooper
Grim...
gazchap
rodafowa
ChopleyTurnip
carldjcross
asktoby
Bobbyaro
stefcha

We have a mixed bunch from Beex and UGVM, so i'll be posting the results in both locations.

Rules:
All games must be played on Server UK2
We are playing standard Dark Extermination games.
Each round is best of three.
Ideally the Home player (player on the left side of the fixture) will start the games, but feel free to work it out yourselves :D

Results to be posted in this thread or in the UGVM thread when each round is complete, and i'd like to know how many games were won and lost, along with the overall result.
It would also be nice if you posted the game numbers up for each game too, then we can all watch the carnage :D

League table is here: http://www.fixturelist.com/leaguetables.php?l=14558
Fixture list is here: http://www.fixturelist.com/nextfixtures.php?l=14558

analagous to team deathmatch cf objective based games. The 'Dark' signifies only line of sight knowledge of your opponents' men.

Oooh, upload games if possible people. I'm terrible at this game, but loving it, and would love to see it play out.

If you go to the search box and type in the game number, you can watch the games there :)

I'll upload all the games from my rounds to youtube though, and it would be cool if others could do the same...

Yes, I'd really like to relive the misery, over and over again >:|

Methinks I need more practice at this game.

Ouch not the face!

I think I managed to get just the wrong combination of reckless abandon and scaredy running away.

Is there anything rocket guys can do against machine gunners and shotgunners when there's no scenery nearby to blow up?

Nope! A good tactic against a rocket dude is just to stay in open ground.

Also, in the first game you took some predictable routes, for example your second shotgunner to die, I saw him pass the first door, so on my next round I estimated where you were and when you were likely to appear, and made sure that when you passed in front of my second shotgunner he had paused his charge and was standing still and aiming in your direction...

Right, am I missing something, I can't seem to find any ofthose people on the list, is it a case of the first time I want to challenge/befriend them, they have to be online at the same time?

Letter case is important, and so is the server you are on. But other than that there are no restrictions...

The list at the start of the post should be correct, the fixture list website likes to add in capitalisation at random. So use that list on server UK2, go to the friends button at the top and add from there :)

I've sent a challenge to Rodafowa and submitted my first turn.

Can't seem to find stefcha to add as a friend though - within the game I mean, not on Steam.

He is on server UK1 at the moment, he should pick up this thread or the one in UGVM during the week and logon to UK2 hopefully!

Well, I got three emails two hours ago of you challenging me, so I reckon it worked.

Will log on to start the game this afternoon.

I've not even played it once yet, so expect an easy victory!!!

I'd at least play through the tutorial first.

TBH the UI is a little bit fiddly and it's not always immediately apparent what your little dudes are going to be doing when and how.

In this regard I think Naked War's crystal-clear 'numbered action stages' did work better.

Sorry, computer-related hilarity over the weekend. FS is installed on my wife's laptop now so prepare to receive PAIN*.

I really should pay more attention :(

I don't know if we need a next one - is that 1-0 to you, or 2-1?

erm the 3 game codes were - 50030, 51805 and 51811. Just in case you needed em for anything

Cheers

That raises a question, does a draw count as a 1 - 1 or a 0 - 0? I think it should be a 0 - 0 score, so your score ends up as 2 - 0 rather than 3 - 1...

Well, I say it raises a question, I guess what i'm saying is a statement, as it's my bloody league :D So draws count as 0 - 0 for the purposes of totting up scores.

So, basically, if you get a draw then you replay until someone has won two games, right?
