My back was ruined when I got up this morning - I hate camping. However, those bite wounds that I had were are all gone, so that's a bonus.

I was in a tent on my own - I wanted to share with [Talula] as she's got a banging pair on her - fucked if I can speak to her about anything without sounding like a whiny emo though.

The minute we stepped away from our tents we got into a fight - fucked if I saw anyone, they must have snuck up on us. Wierd fucking purple things with four legs that sang at us and gave us sore throats for a bit. A couple of slaps with the old sword soon shut them up. They had some money on them, which is weird when I think about it. What the Hell would they want to buy?

Anyway, it's getting colder and colder the further north we go. Not much happened on the way there - a few more fucking odd things snuck up on us and got an ass-kicking, and we spent hours lost on this huge glacier.

Anyway, we got finally started to get somewhere and we're on the edge of a cliff when some dragon-thing decided to try and kill us! He had two big old heads - one that breathed fire and the other that breathed really cold gas. [Tarquin] tried to do some tricks on him but they didn't really work, so he went back to just shooting at the fucker. I twatted it with my sword, and [Talula] used her Kung Fu. She took a really bad hit from the fire-breathing one, and then it caused some sort of earthquake that fucked us all up. Anyway, [Talula] went mental, jumped in there and pulled off some crazy ninja shit to kill it off, so we won, but only just. I've got a busted arm and a few cracked ribs, [Tarquin] has messed up his ankle and has lost a few teeth, and [Talula] has basically had all her skin charred off - nasty.

However, they're both keen to bust out the tents and camp down again - and it's only 3pm. They think that, somehow, when we wake up it'll all be fine.

Weird.

There I was, enjoying a relaxing smoke. My boss had been yelling into my ear, telling me that I had to risk life and limb to break someone I didn't know out of their ramshackle prison in some goddamned place I'd never even heard of. Oh, and there was to be no backup. It was me, just me.

Things hadn't gone well right from the start. It was dark, cold and I had little idea where I was going. To make matters worse, all I had to defend myself from the natives was this shitty little knockout gun.

After what seemed like hours, I arrived at the makeshift prison. It was surprisingly short on security, so breaking in wasn't too much of a problem. My target revealed why he was so important, although frankly it didn't seem to make much sense to me at the time. After a brief firefight, we escaped together and began the long trek back to the rendez-vous.

I can only assume that someone knew I was coming. We got barely halfway back when we were ambushed. My target was re-captured, and I was thrown off a bridge by my mentor, the one person I believed I could trust, and left for dead. The last thing I remembered before losing consciousness was a mushroom cloud appearing on the horizon.

Hmm... people yelling into ear... makeshift prisons... nonsensical explanations... sudden and inevitable betrayal... farcical cliffhanger...

What the way I am too slow...

Well, I've inherited my grandfather's house, which is pretty sweet - it's huge! Strange stuff is happening though - ever since I found a secret room behind a bookcase and read this odd book I've been having flashbacks and imagining I'm someone else.
I've been this sort of Roman soldier, and he finds this temple and gets turned into this odd skeleton thing, then I was a dancer who turns into a big monster, and then I was a messenger in Charlemagne, and I read the message but I shouldn't have and then I turned all evil.
Other odd shit is happening in the house too - I keep imagining things that aren't there - and the other day I thought I was walking around holding my head under my arm. And then one time I thought I was on the ceiling! Fucked up.
Also, I can do... Stuff. I can fix broken things just by concentrating, and I can make other things, well, stronger, or better.
The odd book I mentioned is pretty old - also pages of it have been ripped out and stored all around the house. I've just found another one actually, and it's all about this Persian swordsman who goes into the desert to find something to impress his missus. Anyway, it's 3:33am, so I'd better go to bed.

All I could think of was Darkseed, but that wouldn't have fit most of the story there. Darkseed, there's a game that slipped under most people's radar. Good God, that game gave me nightmares.

And probably kickstarted my fascination with the works of a certain H. R. Giger.

Bad day ?

Dont talk to me about bad days , so far I've had my girlfriend kidnapped and taken to a strange dungeon filled with odd monsters.
At the same time some curse seems to have affected me and i've grown odd spikes and seem to be coughing up strange round bubbles.

I thought I was an all powerful Wizard, but my powers have faded recently. My only companion, my faithful Cat, accompanies me on my quest. I wish I were able to inject a little more colour into the drab landscape that has become my world, but it seems that my skills have been severely hampered to the point that if I want to ask my cat to do something, I lose all motor function myself.

I find myself in a world where enemies come at me with increasing regularity. Thank goodness my cat seems awake enough to want to help me defeat them, although weirdly he seems more obsessed with rolling around in paint drops.
