First episode was ace! I got it in 720p so it looked beautiful too! It feels like the wire; it's gonna take me a while to get into the lingo but the characters are already starting to get really interesting... and the music is awesome!

Hey! UK broadcasters! Please announce intent to air very much talked about thing by previously critically acclaimed and universally beloved writers and producers as soon as possible, rather than twiddle thumbs for half a year and have me break out in a sweat and download ahead of schedule/DVD release. Season 2 started 2 weeks ago, I've just realised! I'll be grabbing this tonight, really looking forward to new episodes!

I watched the first episode of this, and while it was entertaining enough, I didn't feel any great need to watch any more.
It suffered from throwing a lot of things at you in a short amount of time (although nowhere near as bad as The Wire), but I don't think that's what put me off.

The music was great, though.
