where are they filming it? i am assuming London but i have been wrong many time before, May be interested depending on my better half.

It's heading in the right direction though as it's gone from bbc2 onto bbc1 now.

They seem to have a liking for American authors in the final round of late I've noticed

I've seen one episode of it and it seemed in exactly the right slot to me. About as important as countdown. I'm sure one episode is entirely representative.
