My mum is refusing to let me have my PS3 back because she rather likes Itv player. I need to seek out some way of allowing her to get TV on demand without need for PC so I can get my machine back.
There's virgin of course but it's potentially more expensive than buying a PS3 and there's their existing broadband contract which still has quite a while to go.
Should my mum just get a PS3? Are these features available on the 360 as well?

The only feature you'll have on the Xbox is the Sky player, and you need a sky subscription for that.
Buy her a PS3!

Boxee Box is another possibility to look at.

My mum has decided to get a 40gb ps3. Just so you know. She knows how to use one so it's less faff than working out how to get what she wants from the boxee.
Thanks anyway.

Strangely enough no. If I do get offered a PS3 the customer usually wants £200 for it.
I rarely get offered them though. CEX scoop them all up.

That's a lot of £££ for that solution, then.

Also, I have to ask - why did you lend your PS3 to your mum in the first place? Was she wanting to throw down on some Killzone?
