There is absolutely no need for shiny toilet paper in this day and age. If someone had that in their house, I'd pee on the floor and then dry myself on their pillow.

I have spent the last 2.5hrs wrapping presents.....next year people can just have them in the cardboard boxes they arrived in. Or I won't buy presents, which does seem like the most logical thing to do. I hate even thinking about how much all of this has cost me. I'm such a dick.

As you know munchkin Santa's elves make the presents, this year santa has decided that the elves are not getting the credit they deserve so now each elf writes his or her name in big letters on the box so you know who made it just for you. Looks like the elf that made yours this year was called "amazon", he sounds lovely do you think he lives in a jungle when it's not Christmas?

Ah, your children are younger than mine.....but I love how easily you come up with these lies, it's brilliant! There is nothing as satisfying as having someone believe every word you say. Now, if I tried that with mine, they'd probably say "Whatever, dick."

If you say the code words "Shane Warne" to grandad his original programing kicks in and he will kill all humans.

Edit forgot one: Your eyebrows turn pink when you tell lies.

Changing PSU now hopefully the technology gods are looking fondly down upon me this night, and don't worry I've done my jewelcrafting daily.

god damn it

opened package went "ru row"

fitted it, everything was good, then I turned PC on and got *flash bang*. >:( changed fuse in kettle lead put old psu back in, opened ticket to overclockers. I'm actually thinking that the new ram may be bad as well, given the state of the new psu's box. Got different Corsair ram coming via mail as the intention is to get 8GB going in there. Fucking delivery guy.

It seems that they are quite expensive according to eBay. I have one of these and though I'd be able to hook my Dreamcast to my TV using it.

Didn't work. >:|

Did you try more than one game with it? Not all of them were VGA compatible.

Yeah, I did try that. The DC wouldn't even show up the normal CD player/memory management screen though so I just presumed it was incompatible with my TV.

I may give it another go though, I don't like it when things beat me.

Yeah, mine does too. You can change between sending a signal to the TV or monitor but still, neither make it work.

The wife has gone out tonight with a few mates, meanwhile... I'm left in the house alone.

I've already played on Xbox live, ate loads of chocolate, watched some "adult art", ordered a game (DJ Hero 2) and ordered 3 T shirts.

I wish she'd come home so I can go to bed. This is getting expensive.

Tropico is terrific fun. I haven't played a management style game I enjoyed as much since the mid 90s. I always end up playing it the same way, though - I never seem to even half fill most islands, and expand really slowly.

It's neat seeing how your town develops, also.

Re: Polish Girl - I like tall woman, it's all good. We didn't actually go out though - this was just a staff meal, and we barely got to see each other due to a silly seating plan and my being dead. New Year!

I was intending to get Tropico 3 for the 360 - the reviews say it's much of a muchness with other city-em-ups, but (a) it's on the 360 and (b) apparently the music is awesome.

The music in the first is brill One of my favourites, easily.

I actually bought Tropico 3 the other week, but won't be able to play it for x months as it's on impulse. Might pirate it in the meantime so that I can get a copy that actually works. Depends how quickly I get bored of the other bajillion games Ive bought.

On the 360, though? A management game on a console? Welp, it's on your head.

Likewise, although it uses Plesk (gnnngh) rather than the infinitely superior (IMO) cPanel/WHM.

Still, works out at £50/mo even with a cPanel/WHM license, which still seems pretty cheap.

I've played the piratey one, and quite liked that (which I'm also downloading), so hopefully it'll keep me quiet for a while.

Both Plesk and cPanel are for wimps. Grim... is not a wimp.

I think that deal is too good to be true, there's likely some hidden catch. Are 1and1 wankers?

Yeah, I have the Pirate-y one, but I've never got round to playing it. First one is fiiine.

My sister prefers the pirate one though, for some reason. Clearly this means you are a girl somehow.

No. They've hosted Knut and Helga (who run Beex, among other things) for a couple of years now.
But I currently pay £90 per month :S

I've had Tropico 3 for ages having bought it in a Steam sale - possibly even last Christmas's one. Still haven't played. I might need to correct that mistake at some point over the next 4 days then.

I mean, their support is dogshit (on the software / OS side, anyway. Hardware support they respond to pretty fast) with around 2-5 days between email replies, but that doesn't matter if you can fix the problem yourself.
