I updated iTunes last night and saw this appear. I didn't read into it further but I can't imagine it's something I'd use.

Seriously, though, I also noticed that Ping thing when I updated iTunes. I have no idea what it is, and I have no intention of finding out.

Ping's all right, but it's not as good as tracert.

I've not bothered with it either. Already too many social networks.

I thought it was a way of checking to ensure songs in your library but stored elsewhere on your network were accessible.

I thought it was one half of a racquet sport incredibly popular in the far east.

I wouldn't want to add Steve Jobs as a 'friend'. He might want 'benefits'.
