First one is on the path righty outside Pete so I'll get one for you (if I can ferkin get out !). The snow has been non stop and blizzard like and there is now a good 7 inches on top of the shed roof. They said 10cm before dawn but it's only 1am. They also said it would snow all night (nine hours) and it's only been four

We've not really had snow in this area. I live about 45 minutes- 1 hour away from my work (just outside Glasgow) and all the other people who work there have got tons of snow but my area had a wee bit on Friday and no more since

We were thinking about popping through either this weekend or next since Jen has those weekends off but then we heard how much snow there was through there and reconsidered. Then we thought that maybe we could snowed in through there and avoid work and reconsidered our reconsidering
Looks like we might not get through 'til boxing day now, I don't know if we'll risk it next weekend just in case we did get stuck. Travel between here and there is meant to be terrible.

Spare a thought for the little Halo guys, trapped in the snow... It comes up to their necks in some parts!

Nice one, TheVision. I just went out to try and take some pictures in the bit of snow we've had but all I could see was unremitting bleakness, also I was cold, so I just ended up power-sliding around in a car park instead.

How much is the repair bill this time?

Nothing this time, I'm much more careful now.

I did take a couple of pictures but as I said they are fairly dull.

Cool but they're not Halo Toyey enough.

Like the top one best, a little more contrast and mid-tone shift would make it jump out more.

I don't know what you mean by "mid-tone shift", though.

Well in Photoshop if you open up the levels you can adjust the mid tone point (the grey triangle) so it gives an overall darker or lighter effect to the picture.
