The ticker at the top of the forum has been employed in many different ways. It's told us about what games people are playing on LIVE, it's done Tweets, blog updates, news about the forum and even jokes. Right now, it's doing the thing about The Rev Owen's collection, but that's finished.

What should it say, board? Should it be thrown away entirely?

It should be a 'X' shopping days until Christmas.

It should constantly update with Crasters location via some kind of app for his phone. That way all our badgers will be safe.

Twitter was good as I can't access at work. Other than that, can we get it to play music tunes from spotify? :D

How about randomly selected quotes to embiggen the mind and soul?

A statistical counter recording the number of threads Grim... has started in the main forum in a 30 minute period?

It should clearly be something the user can set in their control panel.

It should be a counter for how long it takes Cavey to post in any thread once the Conservatives are mentioned.

How about it tracks board achievements, which you'll also have to create? Things like Belmingest post, Most stomach-churning scatological or sexual anecdote, etc.

Two suggestions :

1) Hook it up to the poetry thread (either posted ones or 'fresh')

2) Hook it up to Squirts Beexbot and have it reflect on the last post made in any forum

*edit* and a 3rd :-) Since your running a scum game why not a rolling 'status' of who's still around / gone / etc

It should display a random sentence from a random post. For random funnies.

Random.

It should scan every post for a match of 'your mum' and post the last 10 lines containing that. Or not.
