With Hallowe'en round the corner hows about some ghostly/monstrous/creepy (or anything related to the increasingly Americanised tat-fest) shots.

Can someone invent a time machine so I can go back to last week when I walked the dog and there were 2 sheep ahead of me in the fog looking very spectral indeed. Then I can remember to take my camera and get a picture of them.

Failing that if you could invent a machine that prints out the picture I took with mine eyes then that would also be fine.

Not sure yet, maybe a D5000 same as yours, there's little bits of features missing from others I've looked at in the same price range that might just annoy me even if I never used them.

Certainly be out for a few drinks on Saturday night, might go for a walk up in the Lakes or somewhere on Sunday too.

Yeah, I thought that when weighing up a D3000 and Canons. I've never used the movie mode on mine, and 90% of the time I shoot fully manual so don't benefit from the AF settings (fantastic to just switch to Auto for MrsZ to use though and when you switch back it remembers all the settings you left it on) I do like being able to turn the monitor around to keep it safe (but now I think I'd rather have a higher res one like on a D90)...

I did think at one point I should have got the D3000 and had enough for another lens off the bat, but I've spunked my cash on 2 lenses since then anyway. Welcome to THE HUNGER! :DD

I analysed some data the other day and it was pretty scary stuff. I am not sure this counts, because I had to scan it rather than use a camera, but it is pretty spooky, nonetheless.
