Has anyone had an issues with the picture from their Wii? Ours seems to constantly have a weird problem with the display, sort of like graphical glitches appearing vertically on the screen causing thin lines of pixellation or something.
It doesn't appear on the first start up menu with the H&S message and the prompt to press A. Then it shows up when you reach the home screen. I just selected the game in the drive and it's taken me to the start screen for the game, from here it is more pronounced and it appears that the lines are spread across the whole of the TV and are an even distance apart. They are very thin and constantly flickering in and out.
Oh, Jen just started playing the game and it is appearing in game on certain levels but not others :S
Any ideas?

I had constant display issues with mine, the main one being that it wasn't ever plugged in to a display.

Ignore these Lewisham jokers, Gill. Have you tried plugging it into another telly to check? If it still behaves weirdly, then this suggest it's probably the graphics card. See if John Coffey can recommend you a new one.

If not, then maybe it's the scart socket (or whatever) you're using in the TV.

Ignoring the jokes I'd suggest

Check everythings plugged in correctly
Take a 'picture' of what it looks like (from your description it sounds like a loose cable or interference ?)
Let us know how your connecting the Wii to the TV and what else is plugged into what sockets on the TV (if you unplug other things connected does it get any better?)

The GPU's been fried, basically. If the console has been on WiiConnect 24 mode for a while, that's not an uncommon occurrence, unfortunately. :( Something to do with a poorly designed heatsink. Nintendo do repair the console for you if you get in touch with them.
