Oblong. I love the word 'oblong'. Also bob. If I could change my name I would be Bob Oblong.

On the flipside I can't stand the word 'mauve'. It even looks ugly.

I used to have to use "parallelepiped" quite often at uni, and I hated it. However, "rhombus" can be quite pleasing.

Orangutangitude, which is like gibbonry, only more so.

I like to mispronounce Trilobite as Tribblyite too, cos it annoys paleontologists.
And 'Agerbavenny'

Reminds me - I was going through piles of old crap in my room a few weeks ago, and I found the little notepads I used to scribble things in at work when I lived in Canterbury. They were brilliant, full of all sorts of nonsense. One of my favourites was a page I'd divided into "Good Biology Words" and "Bad Biology Words".

Naturally, the top of the 'good' column was "Thylakoid". Love it. Also xylem.

I like saying 'chebs' far too much. It's somehow not rude, yet also it is. It's not quite so blunt as to be crass, but it is blunt enough to be fun to say.

"Essentially" is great if used well. Obscure. "Sinister", obviously. Petulant, vacuous, imbecile, atrocious, obscene. Calling something "ungodly" is far more fun than it should be, too.
