Kizzy? Who was Kizzy? I think I must have missed that lark.

Kizzy was someone's friend who joined the boards. I disagreed with something that Kizzy said. Actually, no, that is not true. What actually happened was that Kizzy said that she liked to get 'obviously sexually repressed women blindingly drunk' and then take them home - that was how she found women to have sex with in nightclubs. Find the sexually repressed ones and get them off their faces.

I ever said anything to Kizzy, personally, but said that if it were a bloke who said that he did that, then people would think it was a gittish thing to do, and if you could only pull people by choosing the sexually repressed oes and then getting them too drunk to know what they were doing, than that's not really a brag.

Somehow, people twisted this to me being horrible to Kizzy (despite me never actually addressing what she had done personally, merely saying that it was double standards for everyone to call Kizzy 'great' for saying something like this though they'd say quite different if it was a man saying he was doing this to women, or 'sexually repressed men'. How would you like if that happened to you? Some bloke picked you out as 'sexually repressed' and got you so drunk that you didn't know what you were doing until you sobered up in a situation you really hadn't foreseen, perhaps really, really disliked? Someone tried to do this to me once, but I'm not that stupid (and wouldn't drink too much around a relative stranger, anyway), but he was a nasty piece of work. That was his way - pick a girl and get her very, very drunk. Great.

But yes, because I disliked what she said, and said so, I was blamed for Kizzy not returning. I was blamed for seeing off the board's (previously) only open lesbian.

For what it's worth, I wasn't the only person who thought that what she said was disagreeable. People PMd me and emailed me to say 'god on you' but very few felt like they could say this in thread, for fear of offending whoever's friend she was. I believe in treating equally. I'm sure that most gay and lesbian people wouldn't want to be treated differently and be cheered on for things that, if it were someone of another sexuality saying, they would be challenged on.

I don't treat people of different sexualities differently, because I couldn't give a fig - I'll treat you the same whether you are gay, straight, bi or celibate, or anything in between. Horrible me.
