It's missing an Erfive in the garage. Will cost about £500 to fix. I've got one if you need it, I'll drop it round.

It could be any number of things. Things you can sort out? Try checking the air filter isn't loose or detaching itself, that would be my first port of call.

Sounds like a fuel system problem, could be anything* though.

Change filters. Check injectors/fuel lines. Take it to garage.
*I don't know if you have a diesel or petrol engine FFS.
*Also, computer controlled engines have a lot to answer for.

Thanks chaps - I will be settling on "take to garage tomorrow morning", after checking the air filter.

Now it's not fine at idle again - stalling on starting unless a bootful of go button.

It's petrol, yes.

If it was a diesel it probably wouldn't be suffering from bad spark symptoms, now would it :)

I am going with clogged throttle body, a clean will sort it. Had the same thing with my Polo. Also had similar thing with my Megane and that was the zero centre monitor* wich is a known fault and can be fixed for £12.

I am currently 'sub-editting' an application for postgraduate studies for a Polish person. Mainly fixing the grammar and toning down purple writing which has been over-laden with superlatives. Actually, it probably needs a complete re-write. I hope I succeed at my task.

Maybe they programmed his address into it and but it's just run out of batteries on the way.

I bought one of the originals on Ebay a few years back with the trailer and all. Didn't bloody work, mind.

Bizarrely, the yellow car arrived outside next door yesterday, the woman got out and the man drove it the 10 yards to leave it in the middle of the allocated parking spaces bit. before glaring at MrsA as he walked back to next door.

My mid year resolution of doing an hour or two of something productive before playing video games is going very well.

You should run out & lamp him while shouting "Yellow car". The polis can't do anything because "you were playing that game" ;)

That end of the road is now SEP, so I'm cool, yo.

I'm just amused that the passenger couldn't walk the 10 yards or so.

Far more excited about "James has a world exclusive crack at maxing the brand new, 1,200bhp Bugatti Veyron Supersports."

When he did so in the original Veyron was one of the best bits of telly I've ever seen.
