The number of people on my facebook news feed expressing positive thoughts about homeopathy is disturbing. I only did my last cull last night.

I was hoping she'd like me too and I could use it as a sympathy card for getting a macro lens.

Interestingly I started Alan Wake last night as well , nice graphics , an 'idea' for the dark creatures and i'll see where it goes.

Nah , *she* booked the holiday , it wasn't you - and she did that terrible thing of you know , having a *typewriter* in the place (obviously grounds for either instant divorce , or beheading - not sure which has occurred)

Based off what my brother tells me of his experience, you'd certainly need one to find it for the first few days after the procedure.

One must go to Bruges, as it's abso-fucking-lutely beautiful.

Also, there's a metric shit ton of beers with no real description on the menu and this is what I ended up looking like after making a proper effort to try as many as possible. I think the weakest one i had was 7.5%, the most awesomely named was either "Hercules Stout" or "Maximo Optima". They do this to you after a while.

It's almost as if I select these pictures on purpose, isn't it?

Anyways, it's a beautiful town, and I'd recommend the boat ride around the canals, and cathedral is amazing. The Chocolate Musuem, less so, but for 6 Euro, it was a bit of a giggle.

Beer is a lot cheaper than in Nice (3 Euro for 250cl) , they don't speak french, and the Flemish Stew is brilliant.

I'm going to take a picture of the leaning tower, but from the other side so it just looks straight.

Bruges was one of the (very) few places/things I liked in Belgium. I wouldn't describe it as "abso-fucking-lutely beautiful", but it was quite nice.

Wahey!

The important thing is...

I'm back on the tinternetieee!

This is the first time in my life it's been a simple case of BT guy coming around, tinkering with a socket and then the magic-world-knowledge juice flowing into my computer without having to type in long fiddly characters or translating code from one to another.

Nah, it's almost directly lifted from The Shining, even going so far to actually say it several times, and Twin Peaks. By "episode" 6 I fully expect Alan Wake to be rampaging through Maine on the back of a Sandworm.

On a works night out last Friday, our CTO was telling us of a Java One conference he went to with an all-very-attractive-woman ZZ Top covers band. The curtain went up, a million sweating nerds stumbled forward, and they did a visible double take as if to say "we didn't sign up for this!"
