Day 1 you can't know who is who!!
Although Gill did work out I was not a Scientist..
I can't believe more people haven't put some pressure on Mr Russell after he said late yesterday that he was voting for you because he though you were 'just a scientist'! That might have been a genuine innocent mistake but oh my god does it sound like he's a Cylon after that!
I am also surprised that it looks like I was killed because I was trying to be useful (I was sure that the game would start this morning and I'd be in the dead thread) but no one has made more than a weak reference to that and haven't had a proper look to see who I was voting for and stuff.
My vote for The Rev Owen yesterday was because he came in and voted for Kov when (to me at least) it was becoming very clear that he had a power role and then later I changed to Russell for the same reason and also because of what he said.
Kov-if we hadn't voted for someone yesterday we would have no information because no roles would have been revealed at the end of the day. It would only be the power roles who could find stuff out and so they would hold all the power. By voting for someone we can see who was voting for a goody or baddy depending on who gets nominated and then we can use that over a couple of days to try and figure things out. I know it sucks to lose a goody on day one but it generally helps more in the long run.
In saying that, I understand now why you were so determined this game not to vote for someone. It became clear to me once I realised your role yesterday that the reason you were so insistent not to vote for someone was because your role was a protector and you were playing your role to the full extent. I think this was a slight misjudgement and I tried to let you know that without making it obvious by referring to the fact that we were voting for someone to stay and not to kill so you weren't going against your role or characters beliefs by doing so. I remember playing a game in a similar way (maybe the saw game?) when I was innocent and a good person so I refused to vote for people because it wasn't what my character would do but for your role in this game I don't think that was necessary. I was really shocked that more people didn't act upon your obvious hints by the end though, especially as we weren't approaching a deadline. I wonder what psychologists would make of that!
As a random aside...I can't figure out Dave or Zaphod this game. Zaphod seemed a bit weird yesterday and I think if Dave was good he would have picked up on the things I picked up on. Worth watching.
