I'll be on in a bit. I'm a fucking tech help again at the moment. Trying to remove a fucking ridiculous spyware from my dad's computer. It masquerades as anti-spyware software. Honestly, if someone gave me the address of the cunt who wrote it, I'd go there, wherever it is, and stamp his fucking face.

Well that's fucked. Short of manually removing it, which I'm not prepared to do after a day at work, followed by footy and no fucking tea, I can't get rid of it. And I don't really feel like playing games now either. Might just go and smoke a full pack of fags instead. Cunts! Fuufudsufdsjsdfkl !

If it's that spyware guard, it's a proper bitch to get rid of. I can't remember quite how I got rid of it. The problem is that after I had, it had caused so many secondary infections that the system just couldn't be cleaned and it needed a reinstall. (also, watch out, it hid itself on memory sticks/external hard drives and the like, along with an autorun to infect any other systems it was put in)

Exactly the same thing was on my system after my girlfriend visited a music lyrics site, it was a TOTAL cunt to get rid of. It won't let you run any .exe files, so you can't install any kind of spyware removal tool. Basically, it's reinstall XP or remove it manually. I'm gonna have a go at deleting registry entries this weekend. Should be fun.

Also, I'm much calmer now. A little tired of being tech help for my entire chuffing family. Why do people assume that fixing shitty old computers only takes five minutes?

Tell me about it. My family is so tech unsavvy. I set up an age old P500ish machine for my brother in law once. Installed Sophos and told him that'd be all he needed. Th enext week he was saying how slow it was so I had a look. He had Sophos, McAfffffffeeeeee, Spybot S&D, Windows Defender and Norton Firewall running on it, and they were all trapped in a vicious circle of checking each other. And he still got his browser hijacked and a shittonne of spyware installed as well.

Sorry about ducking out early last night Dave, Kalmar & Bobby. Mrs Z returned from her friends and began talking so I muted my mic. Then said my goodbyes to you and switched off my 360 before realising you wouldn't have heard a thing I said.

X

I'll be on tonight between 9 and daft o'clock :metul:

I probably won't be on either :metul:

Good game last night though, even if my strategy of beating Mr Dave's score by shooting him a lot wasn't, in the end, successful.

I forget what map we were playing on, (Highway maybe?) but it didn't really have a spot which is immediatly obvious as a good defensive position for Horde. We did well though, level 34 or 35 when I left because it was getting late. It was good being able to run and gun for early waves to explore and pick up good weapons, then camp for the later waves.

Also, I love running up to one of the big huge guys and sticking them with a grenade. Very satisfying.

Coolio.

Got the new DLC so we can Horde it up on the new maps or carry on with the OMFGZOMG1337 campaign.

Or both :metul:

Yeah, lets see what time these lazy sons of bitches arrive/depart tonight & we can gun them down like dogs.

Apparently new chapter has it's own save so we can blast through that & it wont affect Z0MGL337.

That's good that they've done that.

Can you play the campaign with the new bit where it should have been, aswell as playing it on it's own then?

No.

I need to do it in stealth mode on co-op. Who wants to DO IT WITH ME?

I played the deleted scene yesterday. It was good, I enjoyed sneaking around and looking at all the wee details. It didn't feel like it was very long though, I think 90 minutes is a very generous description. Why wasn't it in the game?
Despite the shortness, the deleted scene plus the new maps is totally worth the cost, it's breathed new life into the game for me. I think I might give it a blast on insane at some point if anyone wants to coop it. Jonarob I'd be happy to play through it with you but I might be too early, I go to bed about 9-9.30 at the latest on a weeknight :(

I'll run through it with you tonight, if you want. Early is fine! I was playing horde last night with some chums, and we did all 50 waves. The final wave was hilarious. We had three enemies left and four of us were still alive, but somehow three of us were killed, leaving one man with a shield and pistol combo. Cue everyone shouting at him and egging him on. He managed to kill two and ran out of ammo, so had to bash the last bad guy to death with the shield, securing victory. It's so much fun!

Glad you got your cheezoid last night Myps, only three levels left for me but God knows which ones they are.

GoW2 has been bloody good value. I've really enjoyed the Horde mode sessions and ZOMFG1337 playthrough (so far) with Wullie. I can see me playing it up until GoW3 is released.

Apologies for tonight , my disk of GOW2 has a nice scratch around the rim so doesnt play directly from the disk.

However on my previous xbox i had installed it to the HD and it played fine once it actually got through the install , tonight when i tried it on my newer machine it just kept getting to around 65 - 66 % and giving an error which stopped it.

I'll try to install it tomorrow when the system has 'cooled' down a little and see if that will work , otherwise i can pick it up again (£9 from play(new) or i think its still a fiver from blockbuster(2nd hand))

It is quite odd to be sitting there while the game trys to install and 'hear' everyone playing
"There coming up behind us"
"There are 3 still on the bridge"
etc

Shame that, Zaphod. We lost Wullie through booze (I think) and Morte froze too, leave Kalmar and I to struggle on pathetically. Next time mate, next time

Z, sorry about disappearing last night. Internet crapped out & I took it as a sign to get to bed.

Took a few mins from you "leaving the party" to it saying I'd lost my connection to live, so I did wonder why you were just peering round the corner instead of picking me up off the floor again :DD

Yep. But erm... I checked my cheezos and I only got the ones for Hardcore and Friends with benefits. Must have done an earlier section on a lower setting. :'( :DD

I'll try and work out which one and get it sorted.

Anyway, muchos :metul:

NOW I'm 1337!

Did the mountain run level in the tank, somehow I'd only done it on hardcore.
