Can we get rid of that horrible balloon background image yet? Or at least add an option to disabled it, assuming there isn't one already.

You still see that? It was taken down the day after Beex's Birthday.

Anyone else?

Try CTRL+refresh.

That's weird. But I don't think it's a cache issue, given I re-installed Windows recently and the balloon persisted :S

edit: just used IE for the first time, and it pops up on there, too. Only when I log in, though.

That you know about - your ISP could have a transparent one. What ISP do you use?

Have you checked the Board style under 'User Control Panel -> Board preferences'

The jolly balloon appears if 'three-nest' is selected.

Aaaaah.

You want Subsilver2 - but I'll change the 3-nest one now, so it won't matter.

Boom. That's it. Cheers, Kern.

I didn't think to check that. Someone update that theme, then, as I hate horrifically nested quotes.

It was a background image of a foil balloon in the shape of a '2'.

I was looking forward to when it switched to a '3'.

Clearly a Zionist conspiracy. They'd buried Noah's ark there for safekeeping and needed to bring the buildings down to access the secret gene bank stored in it to use for creating uber-people that can reproduce from small gene pools without horrific mutation from inbreeding. Also - Illimuninati and liberals.

Vatican says ordaining women is on a par with raping children.

The Vatican could do with Sentric Digital to handle their PR.

This is exceedingly cool, but at the same time, going too far? The intention is to give the anti-malaria mozzie some sort of advantage over regular disease carrying mozzies, wiping the old ones out by natural selection and presumably going some way to eradicate malaria. Yay! But, nay?

Nay.

In short:

People who die from malaria are poor. This means that they cannot pay for drugs. Which means why should BigPharma invest in something which won't pay them for the research to eradicate it. Eradicating it will cost mental monies. And won't ever happen. Unless someone finds the "stop being fat pill" tomorrow.

Nothing will be done about it the same way nothing was done about that stupid TV weather map that zooms around while some prick waves their hands around and gets in the way of the bit you want to see.

When I was on holiday the other week there was no internet at the cottage so I was forced to watch the TV weather. Every fucking night some arsehole managed to obscure our areas of Herefordshire with their hand.

I also want Jack Scott back presenting the weather. He might be dead but he was aces. None of that wanna be celebrity you got with Fish and Giles.

Would you prefer this tit leering at you obscuring Devon and Cornwall.....

Or Jack Scott with some magnetic symbols?
