It's everywhere!
In the street. Coming out your speakers. In your earholes. Up a medical fetishists winky!

It's something to ponder.

"If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?" & "What the fuck keeps making that noise?"

People like it.
They like to think they've made sound investments & the nicest people in the hospital are the ultrasound guys :DD

There are loads of definitions for SOUND. Who knows how you'll get half of them into a picture, but try anyway ;) You have two weeks*. Have fun.

Rules?
ZOMG Spoiler! Click here to view!
1. It's not a competition. You're only challenging yourselves & I won't be picking a winner.
2. Use what you've got. Your ideas & execution are more important than how good your gear is.
3. Lurkers will be frowned at, join in.
4. Funny/clever titles are encouraged.
5. Advice giving & asking for help is encouraged too. Some folk are better/more knowledgeable than others, share ideas.
6. You can tell people about this. It's not Fight club, if you know someone who'd like it let them know. After all the original photo challenge was one of the reasons I stuck around, it was something to be a part of while I got a feel for you lot :)
7. Really there are no rules, just try & stick with the theme.

Additional notes: I'm not going to say old pictures from your collection aren't allowed, but I will point out that it's hardly a challenge (even if your collection is huge). The aim of the challenge is to encourage you to get off your arses & get out the door. Hopefully the results will be some nice/interesting pictures & an improvement in your abilities.

OOT THE WINDAE!
CLOUDS
DANGER!

Half the pictures from the original series of challenges have disappeared, however in the interests of completeness I'll link to the search. It's worth a wee look as there were some cracking photies :)

*Possibly longer if I forget again.

Very lush Zardoz - the smoothness of the second and the lushness of the black tones are especially glorious. You've really captured the lustre of the vinyl as well! Can't wait to give this one a crack - and thanks again Wullie for managing these wonderful challenges!

Thanks.

It's the most inspiring subject so far, I've already thought of a few other things to try and capture.

They are the 'magic eye' valves that indicate recording levels on my 60s Tandberg reel to reel tape recorder.

Nae worries, it's as much a selfish act as anything else ;)

As some of you may know, spending hours in your own company every day will drive you demented unless you've something to keep your mind busy. Coming up with ideas* for pictures keeps me amused while the hands are busy & my brain is bored. Also, I like taking & looking at pictures :)
*Plus themes & the shite I like writing to explain the themes.

Yes. I keep forgetting to put it up because it isn't massively inspiring, but I shall post it tonight.

Hrmm. I kept meaning to get a speaker, cover the cone with a dusting of salt, then run some bass-heavy stuff through it and try and get some fast shots - but I never got round to it.
