Okay, I'm trying to remember the names of two books, both of which involve teleportation.
The first is a guy who wakes up with amnesia, and goes to a husband and wife private detective agency for help. Turns out he can teleport, and his brother can teleport too and is trying to kill him, and he has twin sisters who can do telepathy with animals.

The second is a guy who has a mentally-handicapped brother who can also teleport himself and the guy. The guy might have a son. That one is a bit vague, I admit. I think they were being chased.

The first one sounds like Dean Koontz's "The Bad Place". Don't know the second one, sounds a bit Stephen King-ish or Clive Barker-y.

Don't know myself - best teleporting book of course is 'The Stars My Destination' by Alfred Bester, also known as 'Tiger Tiger'.

Pete speaketh the truth. Hard to believe it was published in 1956. It was way ahead of its time.

I am trying to remember a book series - it was a sci-fi series, possibly for kids, which had very colourful almost cartoonish 50s style cover art. The protagonist was a chap with a metal skellington, and he had a special ship, or a monkey or some sort of bird. Possibly a bird-monkey.

Yeah, I know the one. In fact, I thought I'd already asked about it in this very thread. No idea what it's called.

I think you'll find it was "Wolverine Darwin" by Alan Smithee.

The Last Legionnaire by Nicholas Fisk.

Except google says that book doesn't exist, and wasn't written by Fisk even if it was.
