Aye, what sort of butt muncher would do that?!

So is anyone up for the Le Mans type race next Wednesday? Let me know interest and I will post up cars/teams etc

I may be on work dependant. As long as I don't have to sit around for longer than it takes my C64 to load from tape while people fiddle with routers.

Haha!

Well, I'm playing. So only in the same way you could tape yourself at work and then play it to your boss the next day instead of being there! :)

I think we needed to do the final race on a shorter speedway circuit. But apart from that there was some great fun and some very close racing.

I'll check the replace of the second to last race when I get chance. I'm adamant I had the racing line and Plissken was slowly encroaching until the point I clipped him.

And the lag causing Kalmar to drive like he was pissed was amusing. I sat behind him on two circuits and he was swerving around like nobodies business.

I give notice of my appeal to the stewards. That reminds me, I'll have to look at the replay of that barrel roll I ended up doing in the race before.

Anyway, that was fun, chaps. I'll get some practice in so at least I know which way I'm supposed to be going, even if the track is too damn narrow to keep it on the island.

Yes. The action usually kicks off at 9 but I'm not usually around until 9.30.

I demand we do a speedway race this week but not on that stupidly large track. We need the insane cars on that smaller ring.

Sedona and Motegi are good speedway tracks for interest, both require you to slow down to get round parts.

Sunset is good with really fast cars, and Benchmark was fun in a Veyron, but is really boring in anything else.

Yeah, Benchmark was abit crap even in my Pontiac. The smaller one we played was aces.

We did do a challenge to convert an F Class car to an A class. But that is optional.

I took my F class to R3 level. It's mental in a BAD way. But I still have a A class setup for it.

Small numbers this week but great fun. Pundy vanished towards the end, hopefully he wasn't abducted by aliens or something.

Souped up Veyrons = Silly.

Koenigsegg CCSGT + Amalfi Coast = Tremendously silly.

The Veyron was fun on the straights. However I had some braking issues.

The Koeninsegg was enormous fun. Did anyone manage to get out of 2nd gear?

You seemed to solve them. With the aid of the tyre barriers.

Darcy* had a second gear?

*So called, because the car spent most of the time pirouetting.

I found that a Nissan Fairlady Z makes a useful deceleration aid.

Just tried out Forza 7 on Game Pass and my AI opponents were people still on my Xbox friends list. Brought back some memories and made me want to search out this thread. Wednesday evenings were great BITD, good times.
