Yeah, heard about that on the way into work. As with our own underground bombings, I'm always amazed at the comparatively low body count with these things.

Horrible news, as always with these things. I'd cope better reading about this stuff if there was anyone left to direct my anger towards, but this is what you get when a murderous bastard think real life works the same way as Eve Online.

I suppose the only deterrent would be to treat the ones we catch in such a way that new prospective bombers wouldn't want to run the risk of failing and getting caught. Given that the motivations are religious though, that'd have to be whatever the most long and painful torture possible is - and even then, it might not work...what price our humanity?

I don't really see what these sorts of acts achieve.

Is the aim to bring down infrastructure, or just make a political statement?

Either way, there has to be better methods, my suggestion for which would be to infiltrate and enforce change from within.

Does everyone remember how the 7/7 London bombers purchased return train fares? The authorities speculated that they must not have realised they were on a suicide run, otherwise they would have bought singles. The reasoning behind this theory baffles me.

I always thought, what with one of their principal edicts of their religion being some kind of heaven/valhalla/nirvana filled with hot tottie and ambrosia, then keeping them in a controlled coma forever would be a pretty good deterrent. Oh, hang on these were women - do they get the heaven pass, knowing how sexist their faith is?

do they stay virgins? When you 'have' one, is she removed and replaced with a fresh virgin? If so, why have 72, when 3 or 4 is enough. If they're not replaced, then who long would 72 last? Even if you're careful and deflower one a week, you only get about 18 months of virgins.

And who wants virgins anyway? They're rubbish at sex. You'd have to explain stuff.
