It seems that MrsA and I have two extra tickets to go and watch the recording of "The Bubble" taking place at SE1 9LT, London.

It starts at 1845, 25th March.

So, I'm thinking drinks before, as we're already booked into a hotel at Heathrow to fly out the next day, so I'm looking for volunteers for drinks, maybe some pub food and good company. And two extra peoples.

Who fancies it?

I work about thirty seconds from there, so I'm in for drinks. What is "The Bubble"?

David Mitchell hosted topical news quiz type thing. The questions are invariably shite, but Mitchell is such a fabulous host you end up not caring.

I also reckon it is the type of thing that his character in Peep Show would love.

This also is true, I sometimes suspect that the Beeb can hardly believe its luck what a qualified quiz show presenter and contestant it has landed. The greatest since Bill Bailey's pre-slide hey-day. Only he can do the chairman thing too. Clearly he is being cunningly groomed to be the new Wogan, only with a more nasal voice.

When we make Stephen Fry Queen of Europe I for one hope he appoints David Mitchell as Prime Minister.

The Bubble is superbest. Although the funniest bit so far is nothing to do with the programme, but when Ed Byrne was in the house beforehand playing MW2, and Germaine Greer (knitting in the background) commented on another death - 'You'll never get Makarov running like that'. One of the all time unlikely things to hear.

Who are the guests on your week? I saw that Josie Long is on it with Rod Liddle soon but don't know when.
