Me? I love 'em. Not everyone does though, of course.

I thought it might be a good idea for when a thread is about to disintegrate into a horrible punfest, we could post them in here instead. It'd make the people who hate puns happy, and we can sit here safe in the knowledge that we are FUNNIER THAN EVERYONE ELSE.

A good idea?

I for one resent these heavy-handed attempts at establishing a cultural Year Zero on the forum... :hat:

If I can't pun freely like God intended, you can get to fuck.

Also, is this the only thread Pun-dy would be allowed to post in?

This is disgraceful.

I would imagine that he got pissed off at being answered with a shitty pun whenever he said something to his flatmate, whether it was a question or a statement.

One of my colleagues got similarly pissed off with me at one point for exactly the same reason, but I think she was just having a bad day.

We used to have a laugh cracking increasingly desperate puns - I remember a visit to Greenwich when we walked past the Cutty Sark provided about 10 minutes worth 'If you continue with these puns, I'll give you a clipper round the air' 'no need to be Sark-astic', 'what a cutty-ing rem-Ark' etc. But my flatmate isn't the wittiest bloke alive, and now watching TV with him is agony. We had a mate staying over with us once and one evening while I was out, he actually had to go to bed early because he was so exhausted.

I had a genius idea for 'Slob nappies' years ago, basically man sized nappies for people who can't be fucked with getting off the settee to use the bog every 2 hours or so. Also those plastic bibs with scoops on the bottom designed to catch food would also be excellent for catching fag ash.

You go to the bog every two hours? I know that my toilet habits are freaky, but... Two hours?
