Or just simply my broadband. It can detect the ones of my neighbours but not mine. My PS3 could see it yesterday but not this dongle thingamijig.

Turn your network encryption off, see if that helps.

You mean like Wep etc? I've tried that and it still can't see it.

Turn the router on and off again. See if any other devices can see it (right now, not yesterday).

Hrm.. Have you tried setting it to older / slower versions of wifi, like 802.11b instead of g or n or whatever it is now?

Setting it to B makes it visible. Interesting.
EDIT: After setting it to b and it becoming visible, I tried putting it on G and it remained visible. So then I tried G&B again (as it was before) and it's still visible. How odd. Still problem solved. Ta.
