Hi Gang,

Any good tactical games for the DS to help me out in the lull between me finishing Advance Wars Days of Ruin and the release of FF Tactics A2?

Ta.

Other ds recomends are welcome too, but I want some more turn based stuff and I'm currently enjoying Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword so I've got an action fix.

I can't think of much actually. Sorry.

Currently I am addicted to playing picross (illust logic version)

Rebel Star Tactical Advance for the gba was forgotten about and is great though.

There's also the Age of Empires game. That's quite decent.

Have you tried Battles of Prince of Persia? Turn-based stuff but with cards too. It seemed ok but it's not really my cuppa.

Shiren The Wanderer is one of the best DS games. Turn-based dungeon exploration. It's great.

The last two suggestions seem the most appealing.

15 bonus points each.

Giving Shiren and Panzer Tactics a trial too, I'll let you know if it's any good.

Listen to CUS, he speaks the truth: Age of Empires is rather nifty turn-based fun.

Lave is also bang on the money about Rebelstar for the GBA; it's only four quid at uWish, got to be worth a punt surely?

Panzer tactics is kind of all there but ever so slow and plodding. I was getting stuck into it and then realised I wasn't having any fun and everything was taking *ages*. I wouldn't recommend it.

not really a rec-me-do but im sure Ive read that glory days 2 is pretty much advance wars in disguise so may be worth a few reads of reviews. Im sure the first ones on GBA aswell.
