Sub £100 Xbox (£99.99)

http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/p ... HP1_main1a

Since its the arcade you need to add lots of stuff to it but its an Xbox with an official wireless controller for £100 so if you have a red ring or similar problem with another its a way to get one quickly (seems to be plenty in stock at various Argos's)

So apparently (I can't check) but GTA: Chinatown something, is 30% off on the iPhone this weekend. THat takes it from £5.99 to £4.20 I think, so it might be even less to £3.99 if they are going by the 'standard' prices.

I am very tempted right now - looking on Ebay 2nd hand arcades go for around the £70 - £80 mark and from posts on other forums these are 'new' machines (so Jasper chipsets) should i buy one so i'm not stuck without the xbox for the next few weeks and then sell it , or sell my 'repaired' one when i get it back - hows your Xbox going Gaz - i remember you saying it was red ringing but then still working a few weeks ago ?

It red ringed permanently last week so it's currently winging it's way back to Microsoft for repair. Second time it's red ringed, but it is one of the original chipset Xboxes. Hopefully this time they'll replace it rather than repair it.

I think if it gets down to about 20odds with the turntable i'd like to give it a go - but the chances of that are slim :-)

My local Sainsbury's, which isn't actually that big, has Xbox 360 Elites on special offer for £159.99, sans any bundled games. Presumably that's a nation-wide offer.

Still not tempted though.

Oh and if you are looking for an Xbox arcade version and your Argos is out of stock they are £99.99 on Amazon as well

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B002 ... B002NRD5I2

Although today a lot of Argos's seem to have more stock in - so if you tried before and there were none near you then worth checking up :

Dark Void for 12.95.

You're a Dark Void.

I'm sure that Nervous Pete would probably want to point out that the 11 Disc Powell and Pressburger Collection is a mere 17.95
