Those ground war games were fun. Especially the team deathmatches which we controlled areas and fell back to other areas after taking fire. Most fun!

Also I got a nuke! Yay!

However its a risky strategy as all you needed was someone on the opposite side with Danger Close and a Newb Tube and they could have racked up muliple kills.

Something like this - 9 hit killstreak 2 secs after starting the game

I enjoyed our Private Matches, even if they were beset by occasional internet problems and my lack of decent classes. STUPID PRESTIGE!!!

The 3 life limit is interesting , it changes the way you play - however if your out quickly it may make it more of a problem because your spending much more time spectating.

Its also strange that typically the last 2 people left alive were Jen or SDG (at one point *everyone* on our team was dead apart from SDG and she still had all 3 lives - however the opponents planted the bomb and then danced around it until it went <Kabloom>)

My style of play changes dramatically during search and those games last night with a three life limit. I am really cautious. I still manage to get kills though.
Then when we play domination or something where kill/deaths doesn't matter I turn kamikaze almost and just bolt about the map.

For general games i tend to run about the map getting killed lots and in general killing the enemy lots.

For Search and Destroy "Defend" i tend to hang around in one place 'patrolling' until either we're out of time , or the bomb is planted - for "Attack" i do often either take the bomb and try to go the right way , or backup the person with the bomb.

For Headquarters i try to get to the headquarters when first 'visible' and hang on until its active (a nice class with cold blooded pro and a 'prone' state but facing in the right direction is good for this - amazing how many times people will run past you because they dont click that your a threat - especially with a lot of other bodies piled around)

Bah humbug.

I was under the impression that when you Prestige for the second time, all of your scores within the 'Prestige' challenge section are carried over.

Sadly, this does not appear to be the case, and only the ones from killstreaks carry over, whereas others reset.

Boo-urns! I had left a couple of the others just shy of an unlock to help expedite my progress through the next prestige!!!

At the risk of :boots:

When we were playing earlier in the week , at the start of each match <Bobby>? would look at the team he was with and say "wow its the dream team"

He did this as far as i can tell every time - regardless of who was actually on his team.

Well you were in the group that night - although its possible you were not on Bobbys team - or that when he saw *you* were on the team he didnt say it (see above for Myp's thoughts on that)

It was me doing it, not Bobby.

Me and Myp used to do it every time we were paired together in defence when playing FIFA 09, and thereafter any time we were paired with anyone in any game.

History has shown that Curio and Bobby are fairly interchangeable without adverse effects.

(Or so Maria tells me).

I'm pretty sure I started it a while back when we were playing L4D(2?). Glad it has joined the common vernacular, though.

I like the way I was thanked for helping nic get his Nuke, by sacrificing myself so that he could have my gun when he had run out of ammo. He clearly missed me cowering in the corner unable to work out why my cooked grenade wouldn't explode in my hands and kill me. Largely because, you can't cook semtex. Well, ok you can, but you can only flash fry or braise it, otherwise it goes all stringy.

Nic got 2 and was one kill short of a third at one point when we 'accidently' won the game.

He also had some ridiculous kill/death ratio like 43 - 1

I was fucking useless last night. Moreso, I mean.

I managed a 5 kill killstreak, whcih was my record for the night. I think I need to fiddle with my custom weapon setups, as they're clearly to blame for this.

Theres a lobby ? OMG SPOILERZ !

<i know it doesnt fix them cause the lobby was as broken as it ever was - if we were really lucky it would fix things so Lagachu isnt the host all the time - it can be fun moonwalking across the map at times but the maths behind it that decide he's the best host is seriously broken somewhere>

It's not my fault!!!

I think the reason it selects me for host these past couple of days is because my NAT is now open and it was usually moderate before.

At least my internets have cleared up a bit. I even hosted a few games the other day without any discernable lag and without getting booted!

I should rephrase my previous message , i know its not your fault , i dont blame you for it - and appreciate that your playing it 'normally' in that way.

The lobby does seem to have its own 'special' rules , the most baffling for me is that i cant connect to a party if Sailor is hosting , and he cant connect to one if I am (although its fine if anyone else does).

Mmm. There is on many routers (although I can't actually remember what it was for), or using an intervening computer. Using it used to get you banned from playing Halo.

Curiosity seemed quite hesitant to tell us how many hours he'd spent playing MW2 this morning.
