I miss not having ninja pro already tho :(

I get so annoyed not having silent footsteps, my wee sneaky sneaky class is just called silencer just now. It's not getting the wee sneaky sneaky name until I have silent footsteps. Sailor was laughing at me last night because he was spectating me when he died during search and I was moving so slowly around the map :D

That's cool, was only on for a wee while to pass the time waiting for my dinner to cook.

Finally got my MP5K Mastery last night.

I'm not going to Prestige until I get the Mastery for the FAL (completing all the assault rifles other than the AK-47) and the AUG HBar.

Of course, at that point I'll probably be even closer to getting the likes of Cold Blooded Pro VI and Lightweight VI, so might delay again. OH NOES!

I did find it funny last night on favella. Zardoz was in one of those little dark alleys inbetween the buildings I turned and saw him... had a little think, then ran away because spending any time with him in a dark alley would have been a bad idea!

When you finally reach level 70 are you going to prestige riles?

I got 24 FMJ kills in one session using the FAL. Given that I only got 80 kills with the gun, that's a pretty fine ratio. I should have the Mastery in no time, which completes all the assault rifles (apart from the AK-47).

Then I just need to max out the AUG HBar and that's all the guns I will bother to Master on this Prestige.

Yes. And judging by last nights masterclass, I will have my grandson press the button to do so.

Bear in mind it doesn't finish until they're in their late 20s, as myspy ably demonstrates.

Yip - filled in the forms online i have the UPS slip n stuff now - going to find a box and take to to them this morning and off it will go , and for the next however many days i guess i'll see how far i can get in New Super Mario Bros :-)
(Xbox was got at Xmas 2007 so its 2 years and about 2 months old - the only warranty it has is 3 red lights or E74 , otherwise i'd be going off to Argos to pick up one of those £99 arcades)

Had potentially the best game of Hardcore Richochet Search And Destroy I'll ever have: 14 kills, five deaths, top of the leaderboard. I should just retire now.

I now have completed the Mastery for all of the Assault Rifles (apart from the AK-47). And I have also done the Barrett, and am 30 FMJ kills away from getting the AUG HBar. At which point I will Prestige again.

What she wants to do is change her name to something completely asexual and removed from her real name. Something completely ridiculous for comic effect.

Hit level 70 last night. Only have a few games left with my claymores :(

Doesnt Gilly get any rubbish for it when she has [girl] as her clan tag a female avatar (and voice) ?

I do think a name change would be one idea , but she may still get rubbish anyway - other thing to do would be to go back to friends only chat , so you just miss out on all the people who promote the stereotype that everyone on Xbox is a teenage american boy.

You dont need to prestige (at least straight away) - although having at least one extra slot is so tempting.

I only really get hassle when the annoying types figure out I'm a girl. They don't get it from my gamertag usually, they don't go so far as to check my avatar and when I speak (if they are annoying types) they hear my high(er than most players) voice and say things like 'shut up kid'. There have even been times that i have pointed out that I'm not a kid and they haven't believed me, finding it easier to believe that I'm a twelve year old boy rather than the impossibility that there may be a girl playing Call of Duty and in some cases even kicking their ass.
Friends ony chat may be getting turned back on after last night, the only annoying thing about that is that you miss out on what can be quite good banter and there are also a lot of people who want to have normal chat in games. Last night even though there were a few total dickheads, we got put on the other team a couple of times and everyone there was excellent, chatting and joking with us.
Jen is seriously onsidering the name change option again though because she is getting all sorts of abuse just because she has a girls name so as soon they read it they start mouthing off and some of what they say is really vile.

I've got it into my head that I do need to prestige, and fast, so I can compare and contrast my performance in Prestige 1 to Prestige 2. Prestige 1 was an abomination, caused by 2 months of being utterly shit. I've now found my feet (eventually), and have run through level 60 to 70 in a week. I think thats quite impressive.

That's mental. I hope to god it's 12 year old boys, because grown-ups really shouldn't be going "eww, girls" or any variation thereof.

People are so rubbish.

Yeah those 2 guys who we kept getting on our team were quite nice. And were having a joke and stuff. Which is what you want, and you said to the dickheads, if you were nice to us, we would have been nice to you, but then again, that's people on the internet. Cunts really.
