Well that's..interesting. Why don't they just laugh in their face and review it anyway? What a stupid fucking situation the games industry is in, seriously. Could you imagine Paramount turning round to the BBC and vetoing what Film2008 (is that still going?) could talk about in their latest film review?

I guess to get their hands on a copy of the game they had to sign contracts about what they would and wouldn't say.

Is EGM worth reading? I last bought it about 15 years ago and, like all US mags, seemed to be mainly ads.

Unless you like American ads...No. Though I applaud them on this stance. *applauds*.

Quite a lot of shops stock it round here though, I can often find it easier than Edge (because no-one ever buys EGM?)

The subscription price to the UK works out at about £1.50 an issue or something and it's worth that. Not worth buying from a newsagent, though.
