OK, I've just ha a bit of a wander around as I will end up with a Funsquare SuperPlus in the very near future. But a few questions first.

GAME -
XBox Arcade €139
XBox Elite 120Gb plus Fifa 10, Pure and Summat Else + extra controller - €284

HMV

Elite 120Gb + Forza 3 or Halo 3:OMFG = €254

Xtra-Game

Arcade + Forza 3 = €150
Elite 120Gb = €250
Elite 250Gb pack (inc Forza 3 + controller) = €299

Given that I won't be using Live that much due to crappy Net connection, and I will have it wired to a hub/router if necessary. Also, am on my own, so no need for Rocking Band shenanigans....

which is the best deal?

Also: Why so many offers on the Arcade?

Personally, I'd go with the HMV one out of those. Because it has two excellent games with it.

Because the arcades are shit and now the prices on the Elites are falling a bit they can't shift arcades for love or money.

What's the exchange rate nowadays? I don't like the Europes so I refuse to look for myself. If you think you'd like FIFA then the GAME one is probably the one for you, since you'd get an extra controller too, otherwise the HMV one is probably better. Ditto if having a 2nd controller is neither here nor there to you.

Exchange rate is about 0.9 to 1, so knock 10% off to get the prices in pound quids.

Is the extra big HDD not worth it?

(As for taste, I'd go for Forza over FIFA every day of the week, and twice on Sundays.)

It's tempting for the bigger HD. But I've got a 120gb chock full of 2 years' worth of XBLAH grabbage, save games, DLC and installed games and I've still got 40gb free.

Fair enough. I can't see myself buying masses of games. I also remembers that I already have a (wired) extra controller.

It's exactly the same box as the elite, surely? It just doesn't have the big disk.
