on the dashboard go to game marketplace click on explore game content.
then go to games on demand

go right to fable 2 and it's episode 1 out of 5.

download that then when your in game download parts 2,3,4 and 5 which are all free.

then you have the full game for free.

glitch with ms so will patch it soon.

disclaimers apply. I have not tried it, MS might ban you, etc.

I bought Fable II yesterday. And then my 360 RRoD'd. I could do this via the website, and take my shop copy back or trade in... but I really cannot be arsed :(

Can't seem to get it to work. Unless I misunderstand what the in game marketplace is. If it is selecting "downloadable content" from the main menu, then the other chapters aren't listed there. Maybe I am too late.

To be fair, I already have the game, and got sick of it pretty sharpish.

It's very passive.

Traded it in shortly after completion. I'd like to load it up just for the 1,000,000 quid cheezo though.

Since I now own every piece of property in the game, I think I would get elenty-billion gold if I loaded it up :)

I've got Fable 2 in my "list of games that made me forget about the real world" list, so I therefore love the tits off it.

I loved it, too. Of course, it always helps to forget everything Molyneux says the games will do before playing.

I thought it was fun at times, but the maps were rubbish, it was very repetitive, and the vast majority of the interaction you had with people was stupid.

I got some portion of the way through it before just not being bothered to load it up again as it was a bit dull.

I played it for a good number of hours and finished the main story. This puts it firmly into my own top 5%.

I just defeated Thag and got the prompt to download Episode 2 to get my achievement. Brought up the box, and it's 960MSP, plain as day. I'll keep going to Bowerstone and the end of the chapter to see if it's any different, but I doubt it.

Hi there! And to you.

This doesn't seem to work any more. Just got to Bowerstone and the prompt there says 960 MSP as well. Ah well.

I'm sure it was a tenner somewhere online over the last week but cant find the link for it

Game of the year version with all the DLC is a little more as its out of stock at The Hut and Amazon

Fable 2 was a delightful game. The whole "make smiley faces at people" thing was torturous and a waste of time though - other than the fact it let you fart in the middle of the funeral.

I think 95% of my enjoyment in Fable 2 was making my chap follow through in front of the entire town.

Fable 2 would have been better had they spent more time on the user interface and making things more varied, and less time on making a shitty version of The Sims.

Fable III gubbins.

This sounds exciting to me, though I never did play the others, but the intent was always there if you know what I mean.

Interesting stuff. As much as I loved Fable II, it did have a few downfalls and Molyneux seems to understand those criticisms – whether or not he can address them with his new ideas, I'll wait and see. I will never hype myself up about a Lionhead game, though.

It all depends on whether Molyneux is telling the truth. He usually isn't.
