All I can vaguely remember is that it was a pop song (possibly by Erasure, though a youtube search revealed nothing) and the main concept of the video was the band/singer in a large perspex box that was getting slowly filled up with toys/teddy bears falling from the sky.

My memory of this is, admittedly, about two seconds long so it's conceivable the rest of the video is completely different :)

Ring a bell with anyone?

Yay! Fear not; few have actually heard it. Kerbdog suffered one of the more half-arsed major label marketing campaigns of the late 1990s.

Even people I'd have thought would know them - like Albino - turn out not to. :(

I know of Kerbdog, but I remember Wilt better. Didn't like them.

Hey, Kerbdog. I prefer Wilt personally. I have heard Bastinado and My Medicine, and have Kerbdog and On the Turn by Kerbdog.

I like Wilt's sort of poppy but grungy-ish upbeat sound. It sounds like the 90s to me. Which makes me feel young like I was then!

Wilt excited me at first, but I thought they were a tad insubstantial. And, by the time their debut came out, I had most of the songs already, in their single formats. Kerbdog were just fucking heavy melodic gorgeousness.

this.

people always went on about them but when I heard them they sounded pretty bland. A bit like that Biffy Clyro.

Pretty amazing how I can link to a song I say I adore and have that apparently act as a green light for haters. :/
