I find myself disagreeing with the choice of forum we are all posting within now, it lacks the simpleness and familiarity of the Invisionfree forums and I will not post here anymore.

Thank you and goodbye.

I agree with Resin Dolo in that the default subSilver theme for phpBB is absolutely awful, the IPB themes are much nicer.

Not gonna leave over it though, that'd be stupid. Especially as the site is obviously still in embryo.

All new forums are a pain in the arse if they don't use the software you're already used to, but give it a week, and it will be as familiar as Invision. Leaving this soon in the day is like cutting off your nose to spite your face.

Things which are excellent about this new forum:

1) Full access to code, allowing us to make it into whatever we want.
2) The ability to ignore people. (Except for me, that is, you're all stuck with me for now)
3) More fine grained moderation control. Which means that mods can actually do something more than futily remove posts only for them to reappear again.
etc etc

The reply page is a bit crowded, mind.

And that it tells you that posts have been made since you hit reply, and allows you to check that you're not repeating someone.

Yes, it is! and the "top" area is a bit crowded aswell, it could easily be condensed. Also the fact that the thread title isn't inline with "Board index » General Discussion" confuses me. Why am I really bad at using this forum?!

I got the feeling it was Truant/The Glaswegian from WoS, but I don't know for sure.

This is annoying. If I've read a thread, I now have to click a tiny "General Discussion" link to get back to the other threads, but for some reason, the title of the thread I'm currently reading is in HUGE BIG MASSIVE TEXT!

Ah.. Truant.. I knew his posts reminded me of someone from WoS but couldn't place it.

I don't use an iPhone, so I'm still happy with this. I'd probably miss quite a few posts without it, and repeat other people much more often.
