Has anyone got a copy of the first Rock Band on PS3 i could borrow to import the songs? I just bought one but found it wa sthe US version so it won't import!

You absolutely sure? I was able to get the songs off my copy of the first game and that definitely wasn't a UK copy (possibly Australian, but I'm not sure).

Failing that, would renting it not work?

Yeah, it definetly doesn't work - I either need a UK rock band or a US rock band 2 to use on my US profile. I don't really know anywhere near me to rent games, and I can't be going the faff of signing up to lovefilm or the like for one game.

Hmm... I doubt it costs much preowned these days and those 2nd hand games can have terrible reliability problems I hear. Wouldn't it be just awful if you were able to export the tracks from it, but then discovered that nothing else on the disc worked, requiring you to take it back for a refund? Awful.
