I figured this thread was worthwhile doing.

I just checked my join date and it has been a couple of weeks shy of a year since I joined here.

Man, that year has gone fast. Most notably because I guess the synergy here seems to work so well.

I've probably pissed a few people off along the way and I've probably been pissed off a couple of times myself, but I find it quite remarkable how quickly that passes and what lovely compassionate people we have here !

I was speaking to a friend today and I said how great it had been here lately and I got this in reply.



Which tbh sums this place up perfectly and why I felt compelled to post.

I know that sometimes people don't tend to say what is constantly on their mind and I have been pretty guilty of that. Sometimes I sort of take this place for granted and forget what a great place it is.

It goes deeper than that aswell. Again I don't want to name names or point fingers but a couple of people have been supporting me through a bit of a bad patch. They probably don't realise how supportive they are being because life can be a thankless entity sometimes, but I figured it was time to point that out also.

Sometimes I don't fit in, sometimes I don't make any fucking sense whatsoever and sometimes things don't make sense to me but this is the greatest forum I have ever had the pleasure of visiting !

That's something else I love about here. There were certain people I had grown enormously fond of on other forums who seemed to vanish. They all turned up here, which was really nice to see.
