 Post subject: Hard drive recovery anyone?

Got a USB hard drive with stuff on it. It worked fine on the old laptop, but somehow now it isn't working.

Comes up as a USB hard drive, but clicking on it doesn't work. Sounds like I need some kind of hard drive recovery tool....

Right click my comp, manage, disk management, change drive letter

Is that still an issue in Win7? In XP it wouldn't appear at all if that was the case.

Disk management is where you need to be looking for all HDD related stuff, though.
