Now I'm trying to work out if they'd be funny or not.

At the moment I'm around 15 minutes by car, 40 by bike with the wind & well over an hour if the wind's in my face. I tend to cycle though & the view's lovely.

My commute is pretty much the same Wullie. Well Watford would look better under that much water. Takes me 15-20 mins on a school holiday, 30-45 during the term, unless there is an traffic in which case it has taken up to 3.5 hours.

If I'm working from home, then it takes no time, however, if I'm in the office, then my alarm goes off at 05:45 and I get out of bed at 06:05 having "sleeped" it twice. I tend to leave the house at about 06:35 getting to the bus stop before 06:45 with the bus turning up at 06:50. After changing busses (or getting off earlier and walking 2 miles) I tend to arrive at the office for 08:10, so I guess that's about 90 minutes or so.

On the way home, I tend to leave the office at 17:20, catch the 17:23 bus into town (I get on at the start of its route and the stop is about 50m from the office) where I change on to another bus which leaves the bus station at 17:45 and takes about 5 minutes to get to where I get on. This then arrives in Ivyrbidge at about 19:00 and then it takes about 15 minutes to walk home (so almost 2 hours).

Last night however, I left work at the usual time, and the first bus left on time, it arrived at the point where I change busses at 17:46 due to heavy traffic, I got off that bus, to see my 2nd bus pulling away from the stop. I desperatly run to the next stop (google says it's 0.4 miles between the two) but the bus overtakes me 3/4 way there (just after I crossed Haldon View Terrace), So I head into the center of town, and watched them turn the Christmas lights on, and subsequent fireworks display (discovering the reason for my first bus taking 15 minutes longer than it ususally does) wait until 19:00 for the next bus, which is due into Ivybridge at 20:00, but we stop about 5 miles before ivybridge because the driver saw a SOD (Scottish Old Drunkard) pissing into a bottle on the bus, and proceded to have a 15 minute arguement with him about kicking him off the bus. I eventually got home at 20:30 (3 hours and 10 minutes!)

Yeah, hearing about other people's commutes has made me feel miles better about mine. Suddenly sitting in a warm metal box, listening to the radio, for an hour or so each way doesn't seem so bad.

I've just read on Eurogamer that No More Heroes is heading to the 360 and PS3. This is joyous news! The original NMH is the game I've missed the most from selling my Wii last year and the knowledge that a sequel was on the way has had me thinking about buying a new one ever since - though to be honest with the current price of Wii consoles in Sainsburys, I still might.

I remember very little of last night. Although I have noticed how much horrible coffee liquor has departed the bottle. For my sake, I hope I poured it down the sink.

I'm also fighting the irge to apologise for my excessive apologising. Oh the fun of being Dave.

No, you were alternating between saying how horrible the coffee sambucca was, and then declaring you were having another slurp of it. So for 'sink', say 'mouth'.

As the posts show, a jolly good time was had by all. Zardoz in particular missed out by leaving so early.

This makes no sense. You either are forgotting it and your record does not stand, or are are not forgetting it and was claiming you weren't drunk at myp's (clue: you were), or you are just blathering because you have a hangover today.

Either way, the terrorists have won, buddy.

I quite doubt I was as drunk at myps wedding as I was yesterday. For a start, time worked properly at myps wedding.

Doesn't matter if you were more drunk yesterday. It only matters that
a) you were drunk at myp's wedding
b) you had a hangover

These are both VERIFIED FACTS so you're record is IN TATTERS.

That were only a mild hangover anyway.

I don't like being drunk. It makes me say things that perhaps I shouldn't. And after the event I don't know whether I have or not, which is awkward.

Don't worry, it was mostly complaining about your headphones, sambucca, brut and harmonica.

Sadly my use of the mute switch tended to only last 10 seconds.
