IT's tempting to use it rather than my own engine, I'll admit.

My main problem is art based (I am entirely incapable of making decent 3d assets), mind, rather than engine based.

Most UT3 mods also use at least some art assets from the game, that wouldn't be available to someone making a standalone game based from this licence.
