I am looking for computer games that use a collectible card game metaphor for their main gameplay system!

I have already won:
Metal Gear Ac!d
Metal Gear Ac!d 2
Baten Kaitos
Baten Kaitos Origins
Pokemon Trading Card Game (GBC)

Is Yu-Gi-Oh any good? Are any of the Yu-Gi-Oh! games any good?
Megaman Battle Network? Magic the Gathering?

Final Fantasy IX had a card game thing in it. That you had to collect cards for.

And VIII. In fact, I downloaded the PC version the other day (5 discs) just so I could play that card game without the tedious loading of the PS1 version.

Best card game I've played - Cardfighters Clash on the Neo Geo Pocket. There's a DS version too but I wouldn't bother.

There's a Capcom one that features practically every Capcom character ever. Forget the name, not even sure it was in English.

That would be Cardfighters Clash. It also has masses of SNK characters too.

Might and Magic 7 and 8 have the best card game in it. Sometimes i would just lose hours in the inns playing it.

Knights of the Old Republic has some kind of blackjack in it.

Thanks for the suggestions folks.

Final Fantasy VIII and IX's card games (Triple Triad and Tetra Master) don't count as they're minigames, rather than the entire game.

Tetra Master is crap because it is stupidly longwinded (it's like a parody, you have to play thousands upon thousands of games to level up your cards and get a unique set of arrows on the cards to get maximum collector points), bugged (when you DO get collector points, the final reward text doesn't work! Nobody could test it because nobody could DO it.), and random (battles are 80% random, your card values don't matter at all most of the time)

Triple Triad doesn't really have much of an end goal, and you'll have to spend a lot of time in proper FF8 battles to get the Card command to get you the cards you want.

The yu gi oh "games" are pretty basic, but they represent the card playing pretty well. There are a few annoying bugs meaning you can't build decks that you would like, as the game makers have misread the card (And still haven't fixed it 4 years on!!!!).
There is also a DS prince of persia game which uses cards, but I never really played it, so don't know how much collecting goes in.
Also on the DS is a Marvel Trading Card game, but I can't remember what it is called.

Sonic Shuffle had cards in it instead of dice. And you certainly spent most of your time sorting through them and moving around the board. Followed by staring at loading screens. Following by swearing. Followed by instantly failing a shit minigame before you could tell what was happening.

All PC-based, this lot. Not to worry though, most of 'em will probably run on your toaster, so not much need to worry about system specs.

Primary-coloured MMO FreeRealms has a surprisingly good card game built into it. Not the usual minigame shite, but a properly fleshed-out CCG. You'll get an okay starter deck just by playing through the card quests you get, so you can have a little fun without it costing you anything. Kiddie graphics be damned, this is decent stuff.

And then there's MMO-derived but standalone card games derived from Everquest 2 and Star Wars Galaxies. Honestly these were a little long-winded and fiddly for my liking, but they're very fondly regarded by those more into this stuff than poor li'l me. And from the same portal you can get Star Chamber, an excellent cross between a card game and a 4x GalCiv style-conquest game. Even more complex, but somehow I didn't mind this time around.

Spectromancer's another quality one. Easy learning curve, nicely balanced and no need to faff around with boosters. The only gripes I have are that it can get bloody samey, but I'd definitely give it a shot.

And then there's the one everybody seems to love - Armageddon Empires. It may have a crappy interface and needlessly steep learning curve, but it's worth sticking with. Nngh it's expensive though.

Pretty much everything linked there has a generous free demo, so just see what takes your fancy.

Hey Cheeba! Good to read you.

The Magic the Gathering card game on XBLA is amazingly good (when you realise you can't really customise it very much, though there are plenty of decks to unlock)

I would link you to my Savygamer review of it, but it's not on the site anymore it seems.

Ooh, Viva Pinata Trouble in Paradise had cards you could scan with a camera to unlock pinatas.

I've also won Phantom Dust too. That was a surreal game.
