Just wondered if it would be possible to have a crap film night where a movie is broadcast on the site at a set time then people can chat about it in an irc like mode. I thought that this:

I'd be totally up for this and furthermore expect Grim... to spend months coding a custom streamer for it.

No there isn't.

Streaming video is easy peasy - in fact, the MP3 player we use can do that.
Streaming video so that it starts at the same time for everybody, however - not so easy.

It was "justin.tv".

Still, we could just press play at the same time. But then if you paused it you'd be knackered.
