King of all bestness is back. Happy dance.

Oh, and in the loop was the film of the year.

Did I miss a series? I remember series 1, the special episodes and the filim "In the Loop", but why is this called series 3?

Yes, I think that's right.

Anyway tonight's episode was a joy, highlight being:

"So you're condemning all our improving state schools as knife addled rape sheds"

I enjoyed that without it being the best episode. New minister is no Hugh Abbot. I want Chris Langham back, sort of.

Speaking of which I think rather than make the planned series 2 (after all the episodes are lightly scripted and a lot gets improvised) during Langham's paedogeddon they did the specials.

The 'series' on DVD was actually two, three-episode, series. The specials are just specials. No idea why they'd do three-ep series; probably a comment on not trusting the intelligence of the British public to watch something so brilliant.
