EDIT: Prize claimed!

Who wants that South Park Tower Defence game?

NB: If this winds up in the hands of a non-BETEOid, I'll be (helplessly) annoyed and a little bit disappointed. No chums, no chums of chums, just the first BETEO-an to punch it in. :ninja:

I bet everyone else will think it is rubbish but for some reason I have only just properly discovered South Park and so when I saw the demo on XBL this weekend I had to give it a try. I'm enjoying it, it has multiplayer for up to four players either locally or over Live as well. It has also forced me to switch on my Xbox on a weekday evening for the first time in ages, which is a good thing and I am glad now that I have :)

Redeemed! Cheers Mr Bulge... I shall investigate it shortly. Er, the game, not your bulge.

Mini-Review!

Some people might think that basing a game around using A to drop blocks on top of each other to build towers would get repetitive pretty quickly. And they'd be right.

I had Towerblo(cks-Ed) on my old phone. It was great to play on the toilet.. but I've got to wonder who thought it would make it into an XBLA game?!

Is that the game you see chavs playing on in Yates, trying to win a cuddly toy for thier deformed, pregnant chav girlfriends with big gold hoop earings and pink and black Adidas trainers?

I know the one you mean.. it's a similar premise except you can't win anything.

A friend of mine won a Satnav in one of those once. I was gob smacked!

They just work on a %age like most things , so if its 'due' to payout it'll make the top part easy and winable , if its not it will jump so you can never hit it.

The 'minor' prize part is pretty much hitable every time but the items are worth less than the cost of play :-)

There was a similar machine a few years ago with a counter on it which you tried to stop on 1000.
