We finally made it to Honolulu last night after 24 hours solid travelling - we didn't really manage to sleep at all, so were pretty tired when we got here. It was pitch black at 6:30pm local time, but still about 24 degrees C. I'm currently typing this on the hotel's huge-screened iMac in the 'Business Centre', so can't be long (we're also waiting for the pool to open in 15 mins time). All the shops were still open at 10pm when we went for a wander through Waikiki down to the beach! I had to drag Ange away from the designer shops before she spent our three weeks' budget on the first night.

No major dramas, except for when we got to LA and our connecting flight didn't exist. It turned out that we were on a completely different airline and had to make a mad dash to a different terminal miles away. Hope you're all well and will try to keep you updated as and when I can. Our hotel room is lovely and I think we already think we're going to be a bit gutted when we leave here in seven days' time for Vegas(!)

I fucking loved Hawaii. We stayed in Oahu (in Honolulu, right by Waikiki) for a week, and Maui for another week. I hope you guys enjoy it, it's a great place.

Hello from Dublin Airport!

BTW, go on the Circle Tour of the island, make sure you see Pearl Harbour, go to any other beach than Waikiki, eat at California Pizza Kitchen rather than The Cheesecake Factory and erm... enjoy it, you lucky bastard.

Aloha from my dusty, half-decorated house in chilly Caerphilly (no rly). When she's asleep, go and give some lifts to supermodels.

Can you go take a photo of the corner of Ala Wai Blvd and Kapahulu Ave please? Just watch out for the screaming elmos in Saleen S7s.

Have a great time, consumate your (and her) brains out!

I am extremely jealous. Although Sun and temperatures like that frighten me. I turn lobster within minutes.

Hello from Fleetwood! Currently in the GoW2 lobby with the Doc, Egg and Dimrill talking about rolling spunk balls and beard food remnants. Weather is shite x.

Shut yer hole ya poofy wee prick. Erm, I mean Greetings from the 'shire, the sun's splitting the trees & the water's flat calm. Also, it's around 24 10 degrees here too.

The only shops open past 10pm are drinking shops & petrol stations and this combination of alcohol with overpriced Pot Noodles & fags makes the locals more than slightly dangerous.

Have fun & remember; Be safe, Be seen!

Hello from Las Vegas!

We have an amazing rom in Caesar's Palace. It's on the 39th floor and overlooks the Bellagio fountains. It is also enormous.

Won 100 dollars at craps last night, and another 40 on the lovely rule-ette wheel.

God I love this place.

I stayed in a B&B there on Saturday night. Packing foam mattress and sounds of something scurrying around on the office-style dropped ceiling, but good bacon for breakfast.

My mum's in the country to visit her new grandson, and coincidentally turned 60 last week, so one of her sisters threw a family party (in Thornton Cleveleys). Fleetwood had the nearest B&Bs with vacancies.

Excellent bacon was a happy coincidence.

Yo! We've just come back from a circle tour of the island. Kanauma Bay and Sunset Beach are fantastic. We also visited the Dole Plantation, which was a bit rubbish in all honesty.

Two nights ago we got drunk with a guy from LA called Dave watching the Yankees vs the Angels. I now understand baseball, and he was a very knowledgeable bloke - he even knew a bit about cricket! Anyway, I must dash; it's cocktail time. Three more nights of this hellhole and then it's over to what the Hawaiians call the Ninth Island, Las Vegas.

Toodles! x
