Reminds me of when I was living in the US of States. The guy down the road from me was the local Sheriff, nice enough guy but a little trigger happy. One night there was a racket of sirens, emergency vehicles and people talking nonsense into their walkie-talkies. I went to find out what was what, and it appears our Sheriff had managed to shoot himself in the foot whilst practising his "quick-draw". :DD

There was an old gangster from Mary's,
Who demonstrated how he's got the berries,
To hold up a glock,
Right up against his block,
And now his brain's in the Canaries.

There once was a man from St Mary's,
Instructing on how to be scary,
Alas, he did teach,
With a round in the breech,
His brain ended up in Derry.

There was a young man called Mali
With Albino he wasn't too pally
He made up a rhyme
In double quick time
Then decided that he shouldn't dally

I remember watching an episode of Mythbusters where they were trying out the myth that putting fag ends in a ram powder rifle could be deadly.

Sure enough they were, and once it was confirmed they told a story of two rednecks who did it, one of whom was now dead :D

I also remember watching a myth about some dude in a NY hotel who jumped against the glass of his hotel room window during a meeting with business associates. The glass caved and he plumetted to his death.

So there's definitely plenty of dumbasses around :D

At a guess, fella-me-lad had never had an ounce of weapons training in his life, and therefore did not know an important fact:- cocking a semi-automatic pistol loads the first round in the magazine into the chamber... if the magazine is subsequently removed, the gun is still loaded, and will fire.

At least he did himself in instead of pointing his 'unloaded' gun at some poor innocent and pulling the trigger.

Of course, if he did himself in with a revolver, then he's an even bigger fucking plank...

There once was a young man from limerick
Next to him there was never a dimmer prick
Off he did tried to show
Off his head did he blow
And now in the light his brains shimmer, ick!

Heh, the reporter focused on this as well.

"Tut tut, he's clearly untrained and lacking in basic health and safety protocol."

On top of him being a gangster criminal who has a highly illegal hand-gun.

:D

Are you perhaps thinking of this guy in an office building?
